Beloved,
My prayer for you on today or on the day that you are reading this blog and
have a willingness to receive it is that God overwhelms you this week or during the week of your reading with His sanctifying spirit so that you are able to live in sustained victory, glorifying Him in every area of your life.
As you bask in the things of God made possible by Jehovah God, I pray that your eyes are supernaturally opened to see that which God has ordained for you to see and that your ears are spiritually unplugged to hear only that which God has ordained for you to listen to. I pray that you are strengthened to resist the road that leads to destruction,
keeping your eyes on the Cross and remembering that Great One who was wounded for your transgressions and bruised for your iniquities so that you can live and not die. Yes, live and not die! In Jesus Christ’s mighty great name, I pray. Amen.
As believers, we must strive to not only talk about God’s Word but be about God’s Word, studying and rightly dividing God’s Word to show ourselves approved (2 Timothy 2:15)!
Holiness is not a look, it’s a sanctified lifestyle. Being sanctified is not a religion; it’s a difference made by God. We have been set apart living in this world but no longer being of this world!
God’s way may seem to be slower, less exciting, and harder than the world’s; but it’s surer, truer, and more steadfast than the world’s. It’s anointed and always on time because it’s made possible by a God who cares about us and is able to prosper us materially as well as spiritually. A God who can keep us from falling and present us faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy (Jude 1:24).
Our Father knows that we need food on the table, shoes and sneakers for our children, and the ability to live in peace. As we trust and obey Him and look to Him as our source, it will happen. We don’t have to chase the dollars. The dollars will find us. We don’t have to chase the excitement. We will be the excitement!
Be encouraged in the things of the Lord, brothers and sisters! Have faith!
